My name is Debra Gag
I am an artist
I look out and drink with my eyes
Color, shape, form, movement
I remember how it all makes me feel.
I lay out my palette
and mix my color piles
I pick up my brush
All my studying, observing, living
has led me to this moment
I let go, and the picture seems to paint itself
And my gardens attract bees and are a place of refuge
Color, shape, form, movement, inspiration
Come and sit in a wicker chair
